THE RIDE partners with companies, start-ups, organizations, corporates or communities and creates and executes the perfect tailor-made event and experience on demand. We have over a decade of experience, knowledge and expertise.

About us
Folkert Behrends is the mastermind behind THE RIDE.
He was born in South Africa during the darkest times of the APARTHEIT. Racism and discrimination were openly lived.
For him COMMUNITY was a vital and life saving requirement during his childhood.
ACTIVITY kept his body and mind agile. He was never frustrated by his past, but motivated to change the future.
SHARING comes natural to him as his parental role models were his mother and father, who had built a school and a church in the middle of nowhere in KwaZulu-Natal.
